Numeracy Evening March 2009

The staff was thrilled to have such a positive turnout of parents to the third Maths Evening which was held at school early in March.

At this event parents had the opportunity to gain an overview of the Numeracy we teach and to experience first-hand a number of the games and strategies used by their children.

Every family represented received a take-home pack including 2 games which were played during the evening. This is the second of a number of opportunities being offered to improve parental understanding of the Numeracy programme as well as promoting their enjoyment and involvement in Maths with their children.

 Please do make an effort to attend the next opportunity offered to you as they are designed to make learning fun and interactions with your children positive. Thank you to the teachers involved in the planning and implementation of these events. This would be one of the better attended educational evenings the school has run.
