Totara Park School
House Holiday Competition
Listed below are some suggestions of what you can do in the holidays. Please feel free to add your own activity. Try and do as many activities as possible to gain the most house points. Aim to do something everyday to help your house win the competition. Either do the activities by yourself or ask someone to join in with you. Have fun seeing how many points you can earn. Children see if you can arrange some activities with your whole family. Parents/caregivers please join in as many of your child’s/children’s activities as you can.
Each activity gains a number of house points. Walking for 30 minutes is worth 2 points. So if you go for a walk for 2 hours that would be worth 8 points. Swimming is 2 points, so if you go swimming twice during the holidays you would earn 4 points.
Write down everything you do on the other side of this page. If the activity is on the list then you can also write down the number of points. If your activity isn’t on the list you can still write it down and someone will work out the points for you. Ask a parent or caregiver to sign each activity as you complete it. Then at the end of the holidays ask them to sign and date the bottom of the sheet. If you run out of room start a new list of a blank piece of paper and staple it to this sheet. Or if you have been emailed this sheet you can print out another copy. Bring this sheet back to school on Monday the 13th of October.
